Andrew Peters
Andrew is the founder of Wire Group. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and is an experienced solicitor admitted to practice in Queensland and New South Wales. He is a former partner of a major Queensland based law firm, and Group Manager and General Legal Counsel for the energy and infrastructure business, Enertrade (a former Government Owned Corporation since privatised). Andrew has extensive experience working with global and local mining and utilities companies on major infrastructure and supply issues, project assessment and negotiation, structuring issues and strategic problem solving. He also works extensively on energy and water issues and infrastructure. Andrew also has corporate advisory and governance experience.
Andrew recently acted for 5 major mining companies to evaluate and negotiate a large infrastructure proposal over an intensive period of 2 years.
Andrew is a graduate of the AICD, associate member of the QRC, and a member of a number of other industry associations and professional bodies. He has an extensive network in the energy sector, business and government.
